can be installed in any thickness to provide ‘C’ class,
non-combustible ships’ ceiling panels.
Where ‘B15’ class ceilings are required,
PROMARINE®-450
boards should be a minimum 16mm thick (excluding HPL
faces) and should be installed as per drawings on
Ceiling Installation Instruction.
Omega RJ-28-S 34mm wide is used in this
application, making the final installation more
aesthetically acceptable. Many other solid core
ceiling systems require much wider, more imposing,
exposed profiles for a B15 fire rating
For decorative inserts,PV-03 and PV-04 can be used to disguise the exposed steel of the
RJ-28-S profile and provide an aesthetically pleasing finished installation.
PROMARINE®-450 ceiling systems are installed without the need for any additional insulation mediums such as mineral wool infills and overlays or solid core profile cover strips etc.
PROMARINE®-450
bonded on both faces with approved HPL have
a total weight of 9.6kgs/m˛,
making them much easier to handle and
install, when compared to all other
available solid core ships’ ceiling panels,
where 15kg/m˛ and upwards is typical
for ‘B15’ usage.
B15 ceilings boards can be installed in all
sizes up to a maximum of 2430mm x 1210mm.
